MOoD Lighting
Nothing makes an impact like the perfect lamp. Whether
hanging, sitting on a table, or standing on the floor, the right lamp can serve
as lighted sculpture and to help either set the tone or polish off a certain
look in your home. And few other eras have produced such a diverse selection of
potential lighting choices as was seen in the Mod period of the late 1960's and
70's.
Mod lighting can masquerade as a space helmet, a meandering snake, a giant
mushroom, large boulders or rocks, or perhaps will take on a planetary or
moonlike appearance. Whether you are seeking a colorful Pop paradise or a
sterile lunar landscape the right lamp does exist for your decorating needs.
Some of our favorite vintage
selections that are also available in current production are shown in the
picture above. If you are a stickler for true vintage then the choices at right
might fit the bill. Any of these selections would be good choices for
completing your Mod Pad.
