Murano Glass Vase
With Internal Colours
Rare Murano glass vase attributed to Fratelli Toso. This vase is manufactured
in a most unusual technique, possibly a variation of the incalmo, but the
internal glass colours don't just butt up against each other, they actually
overlap. Quite difficult to photograph. The golden colour is oval in shape,
while the pale blue & white completely encircle the piece in wide bands.
The top & base are perfectly clear & the vase is quite heavy. Condition
is excellent.
