ALUMINIA Fajance Vase - surrealist design
Significant 1950's vase by ALUMINIA of Denmark. ALUMINIA of Denmark produced from 1903 on and was eventually bought out by Royal Copenhagen. This vase is shown in Lesley Jackson's book, "The New Look - Design in the Fifties" 1998, representing the influence of surrealism from the1930's on design in the 50's. The vase is in mint condition.
